Hey there, reader. Thanks for visiting my blog. I would say that I owe you a beer for being awesome, but I can't afford to give free beers to people at this point in my life. On top of that, you might be underage, and I don't really feel like going to jail just because I wanted to thank you. Sorry.
I go to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I'm a biochemistry major and I am also in pre-medicine. I also like writing; this goes back to my high school days when I was on the journalism staff. However, without many chances to write in college, I decided to start a blog.
I wasn't sure what I wanted to blog about. Sports, satire, and anything of the sort were great, but I have friends who write both better than I can. Plus, the motivation behind me doing stuff like that would simply be to get more readers.
Instead, those things are second fiddle to Christ. I hope to convey the Gospel in different ways as it is revealed to me in different ways through my everyday life.
I think blogs are a great, albeit somewhat impersonal way to communicate and get discussion started. That being said, if you have a blog and you post it on Facebook every now and then, I've likely read it. If you don't have a blog and you have thoughts you want to put on paper or on the web, I'd encourage you to start one. Just know - anything you post on the internet can be read by anyone. That being said, be wise about what you post, and be able to defend the content you post.
One administrative thing - everything I put here is technically copyrighted, just because of the fact that I made this blog. But, I don't mind if you do anything with it, although I would appreciate it if you have a link to my blog if you, for whatever reason, use something off of it.
Again, thank you for wasting your valuable time here on my blog. I hope the posts make it at least somewhat worthwhile.
